As an operator, you can modify your domain's CNAME to point to your website to make it easier for your users to reach you as well as for marketing purposes.


If you're using CosmoTown follow the steps below:

Steps:

  • Log in to your Cosmotown account 
  • Click on the Domains option on the left 
  • Check the box next to your domain name 
  • Click on the Manage Domains from the drop-down menu 
  • Click on DNS (Zone File) Records 
  • You will see the section to enter CNAMEs there.  


You will want to enter 3 separate entries, per the below:


Step 1:

  • Click Quick Add 
  • In the Host field, leave this section blank
  • In the Points to field, enter <your-spheremail-subdomain>.spheremail.co
  • In the TTL field, leave it as 21600
  • Click Save

 Step 2:

  • Click Quick Add 
  • In the Host field, enter www
  • In the Points to field, enter <your-spheremail-subdomain>.spheremail.co
  • In the TTL field, leave it as 21600
  • Click Save

 Step 3:

  • Click Quick Add 
  • In the Host field, enter *
  • In the Points to field, enter <your-spheremail-subdomain>.spheremail.co
  • In the TTL field, leave it as 21600
  • Click Save

 Step 4:

You will need to delete the Cosmotown IPs under A Records. The first block of settings in the Zone File 

will appear as: 

     - www domain name pointed to 54.225.97.249 

     - * domain name pointed to 54.225.97.249 

     - naked domain pointed to 54.225.97.249
