Is it totally necessary to charge our customers for letter storage (obviously beyond a certain amount of mail it makes sense)? What if the purpose of them wanting a Virtual Mailbox is to hold mail for up to 2 weeks at a time? →

Charging a storage fee has been a standard in the industry. However, you lower the storage fee or set it to zero, although it is not recommended since you want the mail to be cleared from your premises. We, currently, do not have a way to set a number, however, storage fees will apply if the mail was not picked up after 30 days.
The following shows how an operator can change, lower, or set the fee to $0.00:
