Due to the increased cost of files stored in our servers, a $0.05 per mail item storage charge will be applied as of July 1, 2021. Stored packages are exempt. As an operator, you can adjust the up-charge for mail items stored for customers accordingly. This cost will only apply if the mail item is stored for longer than 30 days.

Kindly note that charging your customer's a storage fee is optional. You can set letter/package storage for customers at $0.00 by following the steps below: 

  • Go to Business Settings
  • Go to the section titled "Plans"
  • Click on the section titled "Plan Conditions"
  • Scroll down to "Mail" and set the line items titled "Letter storage/Per item" and "Parcel/Package storage per lbs/kg" in the desired plan at $0.00

If you choose to charge your customers a storage fee, kindly note that mail storage fees apply after 30 days starting from the customer's subscription renewal date. For example, if mail items arrive in the customer's account on the 15th of July and the customer's subscription renewal date is the 1st of August, the customer will NOT be charged for the storage fees. The customer will be charged a storage fee if the mail items' cycle hasn't been closed by the 1st of September. 

The customer will only be charged for the mail storage fees if mail items have completed more than 30 days on the platform starting from the subscription renewal date.
